Such a good point. It is sad how often I ask people about whether they read the book that the movie or TV show they love was based on and they don’t even know there is a book.
I love to read, and I read everyday to my son.
A library delivering to your door sounds very handy :D

yupp! Even I get disheartened sometimes that my daughter has not picked this habit. We used to read so many books, comics, but these days kids have so many options that allure them away.

    Thanks for visiting my blog!

I agree so much with you on this. We read so many books when we were growing up. I am not sure about how much kids of this generation get involved in reading books, but certainly there are many other options of entertainment for them. It is very easy for them to resort to the other options rather than indulge in reading books. We should certainly take extra efforts to make them habitual to this activity. Reading books is not only beneficial but is the least harmful amongst the different forms of entertainment of this era.

I so agree with you. People have generally stopped exploring. I so rarely see people reading the newspaper or venturing to read books. There is a point that there are even more books being written today even though the readers of paperback have been decreasing!!

Reading Books is an underrated hobby which does not get us credits from the educational system or at the workplace which is possibly why it is on the decline

    Cheers :)
